A Healthy Baby
You are invited
to attend our next Faith Stepping
Stones event entitled Raising
a Healthy Baby – Baptism Preparation.
It will take place on three Sundays, April 6th, 13th,
and 20th, from 5pm -7pm in the Fellowship Hall.
Child care for babies and siblings will be offered in the church
nursery. However, babies are welcome to remain with the parents as well.
Faith Stepping Stones is a family ministry that bonds families into the body of Christ at
eight crucial stages in family life to reaffirm the promises they made on
behalf of their children at baptism.
These events call the parents to look at their role as primary faith
teachers, mentors and role models. The
underlying goal of this ministry is to create and sustain a faith system that
happens every night in the home. One
benefit of these events is the establishment of natural support groups among parents at common
moments in parenting.
Faith Stepping Stone 1: Raising a Healthy Baby – Baptism Preparation is designed for parents of
children ages birth to 18 months or older. We will begin with a delicious meal meant to
pamper busy parents. Afterwards, there
will be a speaker/discussion facilitator:

If
you have attended this event before with an older child, we hope you will be
interested to participate again, to share your stories with first time parents,
to learn new insights, and to be encouraged in various
“every-night-in-every-home” practices that nurture faith. Come to learn together, laugh, share ideas, and create
lasting friendships. We offer this
series as part of the expectations associated Holy Baptism.
