Women's Circles

All confirmed female members of St. John’s are members of the Women of the Church.

Some of the projects that the women facilitate at St. John’s are: the Food Cupboard, Change for Change, the Chrismon tree, blankets for Lutheran World Relief, Tools of Hope & Blankets through Church World Services, and the ELCA Women’s Thank offering Service and processing the orders for altar flowers, poinsettias at Christmas and tulips at Easter.
There are two active “Circles” within the Women’s Group.

The Deborah Circle, led by Jeanette Smith, meets in the Fellowship Hall at 11:30 am on the first Thursday of each month.

The Lydia Circle, led by Lee Moulds, meets in the Parlor at 9:30 am on the fourth Thursday of each month.

There are approximately 30 women actively participating in the Circles. Circle meetings are held monthly and always include a time for fellowship, Bible study and prayer. Twice a year a combined meeting is held.
