St. John’s Praise Band is a collaborative, diverse group of musicians for our 9:38 Contemporary Worship service. Our volunteer musicians range from high school youth to adults with full time jobs; with abilities from vocals and guitar, to the drums. The focus is using our talents to praise God and lead others in worship. That is to be celebrated, not stressed over. There are no try-outs, but rather an open door invitation.

St. John’s Bronze is a handbell choir open to ages 13 to 103. We welcome all, from experienced ringers to those who ask “What’s a handbell?” and everyone in between. We practice Tuesday evenings, 7:30 – 8:45 pm and play once a month, September through June, at the traditional worship services. We also play for special services, like Christmas Eve and Good Friday. We engage the community by performing at local events and go “Carol-Ring” to nursing homes and shut-ins. Come join our Tuesday night get-together for Christian music, merriment, and ice cream sundaes at the end of the year!
