Music and Worship

This team aids and supports the pastors by providing a meaningful and spiritual experience for all who worship. The team members coordinate greeters, ushers, acolytes, readers, lay ministry assistants, communion assistants, altar guild and banner makers. The continued goal is to provide, during worship, an atmosphere that is warm, comforting, inspiring and uplifting.

Dear Worship Assistant,

Thank you for serving God to help make worship at St. John’s a blessing for all! In an effort to conserve costs, this schedule will no longer be included in the Hear Ye newsletter. When you are scheduled to serve, you will receive the schedule via email, unless you request the office to have a paper copy sent to your home. When possible, this will save labor, materials, and postage. PLEASE call the church office so we can honor your request for paper copy. For quick reference, the schedule will also be posted on the church website with an easy link on the home page.

When something occurs that prevents you from serving as scheduled, please help our schedulers by trading with another person (find your own substitute). Then, inform the office for correct Sunday printing. Thank you so much!
