WELCOME BACK TO CHURCH!

Since COVID, a lot changed. Staying home became easy. Sunday mornings filled up with youth sports, errands, and catching up on rest. For many of us, church quietly slipped out of the routine. And honestly? We get it. Life is full and tough.

But here’s what we’ve missed: We need the church.

Church is where imperfect people come together to worship Jesus, carry each other’s burdens, and find hope when life gets heavy. It’s where our kids watch us live out our faith — building the foundation they’ll lean on when they face their own storms as adults.

This September, we want to welcome you back to St. John’s.

If St. John’s is your church home, take your next step:

  1. Grow: Join a Bible or book study. Be in worship on Sundays. Support St. John’s through regular giving.

  2. Connect: Find your people in a small group or drop into one-time events like Fresh Connections.

  3. Serve: Make an impact on a serving team, a missions trip, or at Country Fair Day.

Feeling busy? Overwhelmed? Just pick one. One step back into community. One step closer to Jesus. One step toward the support you were never meant to do life without.

We’ve missed you. Let’s do this together.

See you in September!

Why invite?

THE STATS....

According to research from a variety of sources:

-63% of Americans say a personal invitation from a friend or neighbor would be effective in getting them to visit a church.

-8 out 10 people will say "yes" to a personal invite to church.

-70% of people with no church affiliation have never been invited.

-Only 2% of church members invite a person with no church affiliation to church.

how to invite?

Inviting can be intimidating, but it doesn't have to be. Keep things simple.

Simply tell someone, "I'm going to church on ____, would you like to sit with me?"  Maybe offer lunch afterwards as a way of connecting.

Take a step of faith and invite someone...just don't do it like this:
